Hey ’90s Kids! Atari Has Released RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic On Mobile

Atari releases hero Hey 90s Kids! Atari Has Released RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic On Mobile

Calling all ’90s kids! Your favorite after school game is now on iPhone and Android for download. Atari’s Rollercoaster Tycoon I and II have had their best aspects combined for a re-release on mobile. Having the same vintage-looking graphics as the originals, the mobile game will definitely bring back some nostalgia.

RCT Classic says goodbye to microtransactions

Build rides, expand your park and make sure to keep track of your revenue and bottom line in what many claim as the best original tycoon game.

Atari has even simplified some aspects of the park creation to function better on mobile screens. It should also help people get started that haven’t played before.

Although they can bring in lots of revenue, mobile gaming fans will always prefer a game that includes everything you need to enjoy the full experience.

Many would rather pay a flat fee up front to get the full game, rather than constantly having to spend money throughout different levels.

Roller Coaster Tycoon does just that, with a flat fee of $5.99. The full game comes with 95 classic theme park scenarios that will supply hours of fun.

And if you happen to fly through all of that theme park glory, Atari will happily sell you more for only 2 bucks extra.

Long time fans of RCT know that their most recent game came out for the PC in 2014, Roller Coaster Tycoon 4. This mobile relaunch won’t be a super advanced version of that.

Atari wanted to bring their classic 1999 game on mobile which will introduce revenue potential more there older games and also gets new players introduced to a simple version of the game series.

Even more good news for veteran RCT players, if you somehow still have your Tycoon game from 2002, you can bring your progress onto your mobile device.

That’s right, the theme parks you created over a decade ago can live on through the mobile game on your iPhone or Android. Happy crafting!
