In a press conference on Thursday, President Trump touched on the issue of the flow of illegal drugs into the country, claiming “drugs are cheaper than candy bars,” and calling America a “drug-infested nation.”
Drugs are becoming cheaper than candy bars
Shockingly, he may have been exaggerating. The RehabCenter network points out that the average cost of weed is actually $15 per gram, heroin is $15-20 per dose, and cocaine is over $80 per gram.
A Snickers bar, in comparison, will cost you 74 cents at Walmart.
We’ve ordered the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice to coordinate on a plan to destroy criminal cartels coming into the United States with drugs.
We’re becoming a drug-infested nation. Drugs are becoming cheaper than candy bars.
Of course, Twitter has lost its mind over this allegation, as people start asking where they can get their hands on cheap drugs “for a friend.”

Remember when Martin Shkreli raised the price of Snickers from 99 cents to $5,000?
