Incredible 360-Degree Video Takes You To The Heart Of DNC Action
This week’s Democratic National Convention has a following like no convention that has ever come before. More people than ever are involved this election year, and cannabis supporters are no different. This Watch this 360-Degree Video shows hundreds of activists showed up in Philadelphia to march on City Hall, promoting their love of Bernie Sanders and the need to legalize cannabis now. Even their props were larger than life.
The problem
Politics can be a tricky subject to follow, but those of us who have been following the DNC know there is so much turmoil over the recently leaked emails and the stepping down of Chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz. While these dirty politicians may have rigged the election, Sander’s supporters aren’t going down without a fight.
The group carried two 51’ inflatable joints, as they marched through the streets of Philly. One joint even read “Berned (sic) by the DNC,” a presumed throw to everyone’s favorite candidate, Bernie Sanders. Cannabis activists began chanting as they walked, making their message heard loud and clear.
Pot reform! Prison reform!
Cannabis activists for the win
Supporters of the rally even brought their own band along to play bagpipes and bang on drums, as they shouted “Bernie,” in unison.
Reform of the cannabis laws is something many of know is long overdue. While not everyone was marching, groups of pedestrians gathered along the crowded streets, just hoping to catch a glimpse of the cannabis activists who were carrying signs, banners and flags, marching for something they believe in.
Stop this racist drug war.
The second 51’ joint read, “Reschedule cannabis now!” This same type of inflatable was seen during a rally in Washington, D.C., where activists actually had to deflate, then re-inflate, the joint to smuggle it past security. Luckily, protestors were able to carry their cannabis float through Philadelphia without having to take such stealthy measures.

Political Debates Aren’t The Only Thing Being Sparked At The DNC
Cannabis activists are stepping up in a huge way at the Democratic National Convention. Protestors marched at the Philadelphia City Hall, carrying not one, but two, giant, inflatable joints, in what supporters are calling “Jaywalk to DNC.” While there were also cannabis supporters protesting at the Republican National Convention, the DNC walk took the cannabis cup.
Light up for freedom at the DNC
Protestors lined Philadelphia City Hall carrying two, 51-foot, inflatable joints right into the heart of their debate. The activists also lit up real joints, smoking freely in public in a city where cannabis is not recreationally legal. While there were no unruly protestors, they were noticeably more agitated and organized at the DNC than they had appeared to be at the RNC.
Kate Grumke and Eugene Daniels, who were covering the story for Newsy, noted the difference from one convention to the next.
Today was a really interesting day because the first thing I did was I went to a protest where people were smoking weed at the Philadelphia City Hall. I was at the RNC last week, and there’s so many more protesters. It seems like they’re a lot more organized here. – Kate Grumke
Hostility grows
Over the last week, Democrats have been reeling over the findings that the DNC may have played favorites between candidates Hilary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. After a slew of emails between members of the DNC were released, citizens believe the evidence clearly shows bias among the party and that they never intended to let Sanders be the official candidate.

Tensions only grew when DNC’s Chairperson, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, resigned after the leaked emails, only to be hired onto Clinton’s campaign moments later. If that doesn’t spell “rigged system” I’m not sure what does. During the DNC’S opening ceremonies and prayer service, protestors being shouting “Bernie, Bernie, Bernie,” in the hopes their voices would be heard.

Do You Know How To Make The Classic Gatorade Bong?
Sometimes we all crave that classic lung-punching strength of a bong hit. And when you don’t have any glass to take your hits out of, you’ve got yourself a bit of a problem. Although the smaller Gatorade bottle was used in the video, I would personally recommend the 710mL (24 ounces) size. This will give you room to add some ice to the bong to keep your smoke as chilled as possible. I’d also suggest trying to use a glass bowl so there is no risk of burning plastic gas into your hit.
When crafted and sealed properly, these kinds of bongs can be great for a party or outdoor activity-basically anywhere that you wouldn’t want to bring an expensive glass piece. You’ll be able to throw it around without worry of it breaking and getting glass everywhere.
And once you master the art of making plastic bongs, you can elevate your game by trying it out with bigger soda containers or even attempt a gravity bong.

The High Guys Gotta Catch ‘Em All (While They’re High, Obvs)
Over the last two weeks, the Pokémon Go craze has taken over our newsfeeds, timelines, televisions, and lives. From elderly to infants, it seems like no one is immune to this unbelievably trendy game’s allure. Even Buzzfeed’s High Guys got in on the action, battling to see who can become the highest trainer and catch ‘em all.
The basics
Before getting started, High Guys Brandon, Emma, and Mike review some basics of Pokémon Go that every good trainer should know. Most of us have already heard the augmented reality game is played on users’ phones, as they wander the real world searching high and sober for the pocket monster creatures.
The adventures lead gamers to some pretty unusual places, but players should follow Brandon’s lead when it comes to risking too much in pursuit of a Pokémon.
I think it was, yeah, yeah, a Pikachu, but it was right by a police car. So, I said ‘fu** that shit’ and I ran away.
The battle begins
While the boys are pumped to start their elevated quest, Emma has some reservations.
I could never be a stoned Pokémon master. I would never get anywhere.
Mike is first up to spot a creature, Meowth, which happened to be waiting right near the camera man. He and Brandon begin tossing Poke Balls, and in the end, Mike prevails, despite Brandon’s offer of lowering the Pokémon’s rent.
Not all who wander are lost
As the group heads outside to play, Emma seems to perk up when she catches a Doduo and delights us with a lovely victory tune. The High Guys, much like the rest of the world, seems to be caught in the Pokémon Go trap, with no sign of exiting the battle arena anytime soon.
The High Guys approach a gym and quickly learn they’re not the masters they thought they were, as Brandon is killed almost instantly by a stronger opponent. Instead of partaking in a battle, Mike uses the time to reflect on his experience playing Pokémon Go while high.
Walking around on a beautiful day, stoned out of my mind, catching Pokémon . I’m glad they invented this…It’s spectacular. What an exciting time to be alive.

Sometimes we all need something simple to smoke out of. And what better vegetable to use than one that already has the perfect shape for carving a pipe. The carrot-pipe is one of the easiest to create simply because of its shape and texture. Simply organic carrots are best
I’d recommend buying bunch-carrots as it will include an aesthetically pleasing stem for your pipe as shown in the video. When selecting your bunch, try to look out for carrots that are unusually long and straight. This should keep the carving to a minimum and the longer the carrot, the cooler and more flavourful your smoke will be.
You’ll also want a decent thickness, as the bowl size will be determined by how thick the carrot is on the stem-end.

Would This Honey Badger With Zero Chill Out-Smart You?
If you think you’ve seen it all when it comes to smart animals, you haven’t met Stoffel. Stoffel is a bright little honey badger that isn’t a fan of staying put. Every day is a game of cat and mouse at Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, where the Houdini of animals tricks his rescuers. Stoffel the honey badger: Tiny body, big brain
Controlling Stoffel is not an easy task for Brian, one of the rescuers at the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre in South Africa. The first “solution” was a new playpen and a friend, which did not work in Brian’s favour. The little critter made his new friend his partner-in-crime, and the two worked together to open the gate and escape.
Nothing seemed to keep the fearless creature contained, so he eventually received a new home with walls. The game quickly resumed, and Stoffel was back to his mischevious ways. From climbing trees to digging up rocks, his wheels stayed turning, and he kept coming up with new ways to freedom.
One night, Brian and his wife woke up to a broken window. Like any average person, they expected burglars to be in the home. Little did they know, a familiar face broke in. There stood the little criminal called Stoffel, who built a wall made of mud and decided to surprise his friends. No matter what time of day, Stoffel has no chill.
The skunk-like mammal receives no training or any form of payment for his slick ways, all he needs is his big brain and some creative thinking. You won’t believe what this witty badger is capable of until you see for yourself. It’s no hoax; it’s just Stoffel. Be sure to check him out in the video below.

These Lawyers Will Let You Know How To Not Get Caught
With police brutality making news headlines across America, citizens need to remain extra vigilant and alert during traffic stops, ensuring police have no extra incentive to show aggression. In Waco, Texas, two lawyers created a music video to help residents understand their rights during a roadside stop and avoid feeling the wrath of the unjust war on drugs. While it might not be the most professional way to make the public take notice, it is definitely an effective method, as customers are beginning to seek out the cannabis-conscious firm for representation.
A cappella attorneys
Attorneys Will Hutson and Chris Harris didn’t need to use fancy auto-tune or electric instruments to create their latest advertising jingle. No, instead the two Baylor Law School alumni relied on acoustic guitars and outstanding vocals to deliver a tune no cannabis connoisseur could forget.
“Don’t Eat Your Weed” warns Texas residents of the serious consequence they could face if, yes you guessed it, they chose to eat their weed or conceal it in any other way during a traffic stop, rather than allow police to find it. Under Texas law, any possession of cannabis under two ounces is considered a Class B
Under Texas law, any possession of cannabis under two ounces is considered a Class B misdemeanor, leading to a fine and possible probation. However, attempting to conceal evidence during a police investigation is a third-degree felony.

Music mogul lawyers
This isn’t the first hit tune for Hutson and Harris. They’ve also released a track called “Shut Up,” which aims to remind residents of their Fifth Amendment right to remain silent during traffic stops. While these are definitely not your average attorneys, they show a true understanding of how severe some roadside stops can be.
Their work is helping to educated Texas residents of how to remain within their rights and not further incriminate themselves. Even State District Judge Matt Johnson watched the video and was pleased with what he saw.
I have seen a significant number of cases that are charged as felony tampering with physical evidence that arise out of somebody trying to eat or ingest a misdemeanor amount of marijuana. Mr. Hutson and Mr. Harris have certainly developed a unique way to communicate with their clients or potential clients.

Pineapple Bong: How To Make A Tropical Summer Hit
Another great instructional video from MasterBong shows just how much fun you can have while creating a bong out of fruit. Over in Hawaii, he tries to use organic material when possible for his beautiful pineapple bong. Although some of the parts require a Hawaiian vacation, this bong can be customized to whatever materials you have around the house. Enjoy!
Island-Centric pineapple bong
Master Bong specifically wanted this pineapple bong to represent his holiday in Hawaii. With a bowl made out of an apricot pit and a papaya down-stem, his rendition couldn’t get any more local. We can even assume that the cannabis that he used in the bong was grown locally, making his creation 100% Hawaiian.
Master Bong has always been a very big fan of “McGyvering“: simply the act of improvising whenever a problem arises. He stresses that everyone’s pineapple bong will turn out differently. So whatever materials you may be using, there will always be a smart way to improvise and create the best bong possible.
As long as you know the mechanical function of a bong, you can engineer a bong where the only limitation is your imagination!

The Ultimate Accessory: How To Make A Paracord Pipe Bracelet
The best pipe is the one that you can take with you everywhere discreetly. A military tradition gets a cannabis makeover to become the paracord pipe bracelet. This project has it all: braiding, building, and a great homemade smoking gadget as a reward.
Step 1. The core
Take your basic metal pipe, with screw on parts including mouthpiece and bowl. Remove the bowl and mouthpiece. You will also want a “whistler cap” for the top of the bowl. Crazy Glue the mouthpiece and bowl to a length of plastic tubing that fits comfortably around your wrist, with a quarter inch space all around. This will compensate for the paracord later.
Step 2. The paracord pipe bracelet
If you don’t know how to braid a paracord bracelet, here is a link to the Paracord Guild, where you can find dozens of pattern guides! They are loads of fun and a great project to work on while enjoying some herbal downtime.
Start off with 20 ft of each color for this project. This bracelet uses the Solomon stitch or basic Kroger knot. When you start, dab some Crazy Glue to make sure it holds tight to the end with the bowl.
Step 3. Repeat, repeat, repeat
Continue braiding down the length of the plastic tubing. Every few stitches, you will want to push the braid together tightly and apply small dabs of glue. This will not only hold your braid together but keep any tubing from showing conspicuously.
Step 4. Nearing the end
Once you reach the mouthpiece, you will make a few Cow’s hitches on each side to extend the end past the mouthpiece. Keep it symmetrical. Always keep your knots tight. Then, resume your Solomon stitch past the mouthpiece. Here, you push the mouthpiece to one side or the other.
When worn, the braid pushes the mouthpiece inward, concealing it. So choose which side you want facing out now. It all depends on which colors you want to show.
Step 5. Tying it off
When you reach your perfect length, you will cut the excess, and slide the “whistler cap” over the two inner cords. To help make the tight knot you will need inside the whistler, you can remove the inner layer of the paracord (the white string). Then, make one knot, cut, and burn & glue to seal. An important note, twist the cap as the glue dries so it won’t lock the cap in place.
Now, you should be able to screw the bowl into the whistler, closing the bracelet. Doing this on your own wrist might be a little tricky at first.

How To Make A Sweet Slurpee Cup Bong
Every herb lover worth their salt has made at least one smoking device in a pinch. When it comes time to burn some bush, nothing can stand in our way. Make yourself some epic homemade smoking hardware with a Slurpee Cup! This video shows you how to make a Slurpee Cup Bong, and wow, does it give us some ideas! Talk about sweet relief.
Step 1. Gather supplies
To make the Slurpee Cup bong, you will first need to gather the following:
- Duct tape
- Plastic tube (in this example, an empty script bottle)
- Glass slider (bowl + stem)
- & of course a nice refillable Slurpee Cup with a tall straw
Step 2. The stem
Check your straw for cracks or leaks. Ideally, you want a thick plastic straw, or even better, a metal “Chiller” straw that you can usually buy for a dollar at the same place you get the Cup. Use your duct tape and seal the straw onto the cup lid. Make sure the straw is angled on or above the bottom of the cup, or you will have no airflow.
Step 3. The mouthpiece
In this video, the McGuyver uses a plastic medication bottle, cutting the bottom off. To do so, he scores the outside with scissors, then uses a lighter to soften the plastic. Then, he pierces the side and works them around to cut the bottom off completely.
Step 4. Second seal
With your wide plastic tube at the ready, seal it against the other hole on the lid. Duct tape is cheap, so don’t skimp. The only thing you want to avoid besides a bad seal is tape extending down onto the cup itself.
Step 5. Insert the bowl & go
Just load your glass bowl stem, insert into the Slurpee Cup Bong, and light it up! In under 5 minutes you have a great, reusable piece that can give massive rips, and easily be filled or emptied. The hardest part is deciding whether to use water or an actual Slurpee flavor for your liquid in the bottom!
My personal suggestion? Blueberry & Mountain Dew flavored Slurpees in a 3-to-1 ratio gives a super sweet smoke that cools you on the hottest day. After a bowl, just remove the slider and use the straw to suck out the leftover treat!

Meet These 8 Inspirational Medical Cannabis Successes
There are a few personal stories that have really taken off about medical cannabis. While many people now think that cannabis is beneficial, these 8 people cured their ailments thanks to the herb. That’s right. Now that they’ve incorporated a plant into their lives, they are symptom-free.
1. Rick Simpson
Rick Simpson has not only saved his own life but the lives of countless others. After a skin cancer diagnosis, Simpson decided to do a little experiment. He had been consuming cannabis for a previous ailment. He had developed a process to extract a highly concentrated cannabis oil from hemp plants.
The end result was Rick Simpson Oil (RSO). When his skin cancer came around, he wondered if the concentrate he made could help if applied topically.

4. Kristen Courtney

Japan Has Joined The Fight For Legalized Medical Cannabis
As more and more of the world continues to legalize cannabis every day, some sterner countries are finally starting to take notice. Smoking cannabis is highly frowned up in Japan culture, but one starlet is working to change the stereotypes, and bring medical cannabis to an entire nation.
Actress turned activist
Saya Takagi has lived her life as a popular Japanese actress, staring in a variety of television shows and movies. In recent years, Takagi has taken on an entirely new role as a politician, working towards cannabis reform for her entire country. Now, she’s hoping to reach her most challenging goal yet – a seat in Japan’s Upper House, a powerful level of the country’s government.
Takagi decided to run for the Upper House because she believes it will give her the opportunity to finally bring cannabis to Japan’s forefront. Her ultimate goal is to sway other council members to see the medicinal benefits at hand and vote to repeal the cannabis control law.
Necessary reform
Due to the ridiculously strict cannabis laws in Japan, there has been no government studies of the plant or its medical properties, leaving only speculation and criminalization of the life-saving herb. If the cannabis control laws were lifted, or even modified, researchers could begin independent studies to reveal solid evidence of the many medical benefits. Japan’s government would have to take the irrefutable proof under some type of consideration.

You Need To See Sugar Ray Leonard Knock-Out Snoop
There’s no doubt Snoop Dogg knows his cannabis culture inside and out. So, when the Dogg Father took on Sugar Ray Leonard during a round of Celebrity Family Feud and the topic of cannabis came up, it was a shock when Snoop’s answer was beat.
Champ versus champ
During Sunday night’s new episode of Celebrity Family Feud, Boxer Sugar Ray Leonard and Snoop Dogg went head-to-head, battling for control of the game. As the two greet each other with a hug and saunter to their respective podiums, host Steve Harvey giggles with excitement after reading the men’s question. His sheer delight is enough to alert the audience that this is going to be a good round.
Name something Grandma might do if she caught Grandpa smoking marijuana. –Steve Harvey
Without even a split-second of hesitation, Snoop smacks his buzzer to answer.
Put hands on him. More specific? She would, um, hit him.
While this is definitely a cannabis question, it’s certainly not Snoop’s area of expertise. After all, how often do you think Snoop is scolded for catching a buzz? Never. So, it’s no wonder his answer wasn’t at the top of the list, but it is there, coming in at the number four slot.

After giving his hilarious answer, Snoop stands back and waits for Leonard to reply, hoping his answer is higher than the boxing champ. Sugar Ray Leonard said:

Yet another family has found the benefits of medical cannabis for the treatment of pediatric epilepsy. The famous Charlotte’s Web CBD oil has given little Emma the medical treatment she needs for her seizures, as well as opened up her personality. The parents had tried many pharmaceuticals, but they ultimately settled on the best seizure-controlling substance in the world, medical cannabis.
Quality of Life
Jessica Crozier had never even considered medical cannabis as a serious treatment for her daughters daily battle with seizures.

Is Washington DC Set To Become The New Amsterdam?
Half Baked is the 8th and final episode of the “Weediquette” series by VICE, hosted by Krishna Andavolu. This episode takes Krishna into Washington DC to get a grasp on the incomplete cannabis laws the district has brought upon themselves. He seeks the perspectives of locals, entrepreneurs, and law enforcement, all identifying key problems with DC‘s cannabis regulation.
Washington DC has half-baked laws
Krishna compares Washington’s new loophole-filled laws to the famous cannabis capital in the Netherlands, Amsterdam. Where incomplete legislation led to the population transforming the city into a marijuana haven for growers, sellers, and tourists. For over 40 years, Amsterdam has thrived off of the cannabis coffee shop strategy, selling thousands of euros worth daily.
Whenever cannabis legislation contains loopholes or unfinished regulation, someone in the market is going to be risking prosecution to keep the gravy train going. Whether it’s the cannabis deliveries to the coffee shops or the black market in Washington DC, the risk for these individuals is completely avoidable.
Simply employing comprehensive cannabis legislation that includes everything from growing to selling is what we have governments for. A job half done wouldn’t be accepted in any other workplace, so why should we accept it from our own government?

The popular web series High Maintenance is coming to HBO and we couldn’t be more excited. The series follows “The Guy,” a cannabis dealer just trying to make his rounds through Brooklyn, New York, always attempting to stay under the radar and never revealing his true name, even to viewers. High Maintenance: The beginning
The husband and wife duo of Ben Sinclair and Katja Blichfeld are the masterminds behind High Maintenance. In 2012, the comedic couple began the web series, thinking their idea might reach a few dozen people. Four years later and this series has gained a cult following.

At the Writers Guild Awards last February, High Maintenance took home the award for “Short Form New Media.” After securing such a pristine award, HBO’s interests were sparked. A new deal was formed to include the web series on the network’s mainstream cable channel, as well as HBO GO, so all subscribers have the chance to experience the web-series-gone-pro.
The new High Maintenance episodes will premiere this fall on HBO, but fans can catch up on the original 19 videos on a pay-per-episode basis from their original host Vimeo. In the months to come, all episode will be available on HBO GO, for those with a subscription.

10 Craziest Drugs You’ve Probably Never Heard Of
We’ve all heard of some pretty insane drugs that are not only harmful but also deadly. However, I’m willing to bet that you’ve never heard of inhaling the fumes off of fermented human faeces. I’m also positive that if someone handed you a drug and said it could knock out an elephant, you’d say hell no. If you think those two things sound bizarre, you haven’t seen anything yet. Normally things of this nature throw up a big caution sign, but not for everyone.
Bizarre and disturbing
If you’re already disturbed by my introduction, consider it the appetizer before a terrible meal. As the video by Top Trending begins, the creepy music starts and you just know you’re going to learn about some bizarre stuff.
Further into the video, we learn about DMHP, a terrible mimic of cannabis. What’s the difference might you ask? Safety, which this drug lacks. The main ingredient is the yellow oil from cannabis and a tiny 0.0002 grams of this drug will make you completely useless and will also give you an extreme case of the munchies.
The military used DMHP in order to make their enemies unable to defend themselves. If you think that giant blunt you smoked last night gave you the giggles, imagine not being able to control it.

Growing up with Star Trek
Star Trek has been a part of my life since I was a little girl. My dad really is the one who introduced me, it just took me one episode to fall in love with this other world I couldn’t understand but I felt I could relate to.
This is something that’s been a part of me since my childhood, it’s never left me, I love Star Trek. It was automatic. I would do anything in terms of music. It’s such a big deal not only as a fan, as a musician, because it is such a big deal across the globe.
Her love of Star Trek propelled her to want to really put something out there that was:
…Big and impactful, very emotional, dramatic [and] haunting at the same time.
Sledgehammer
The tune certainly lives up to that hope. Co-written by Sia, it is stirring. The crescendo of emotion pulls, and enhances the film’s drama and relationships. Even more fun, you can watch the music video and tell Rihanna thoroughly got into the otherworldly vibe.

Do These Snacks From The ’90s Make You Feel Nostalgic?
Have you been missing some of the classic childhood snacks many of us grew up with? Are you too young to remember the simple pleasure of Gushers exploding? Buzzfeed’s High Guys, along with a few new friends, try all the exciting snacks of the ‘90s after achieving a thoroughly elevated mindset. While the treats may have tasted phenomenal as a child, somehow they’re just not the same now. Grab a Fruit By The Foot and unwind, while watching high people try ‘90s snacks.
Lunch goals
The teams of two begin by remembering their favorite snacks from childhood. An overwhelming majority can’t help but mention those squishy, oozy, sweet Gushers we all loved as an after-lunch snack. While this particular treat is still available today, the High People were clearly unaware, and dreams were made after Brandon Brickz consumed his Gushers.
I can die a happy man, I can. I’ve lived my dream. I smoked a blunt from Snoop Dogg before, that was my first part where I’d be cool with dying, now this.
Results
More surprising than anything was that, while the snacks brought back a nostalgic feel, they tasted nothing like the High People remembered. The Gushers had a plastic taste, the Surge left an oily residue and the Kool-Aid Bursts simply tasted “blue,” and not in good way. One member even described the Fun Dip taste like, “Someone spilled a strawberry daiquiri on sand.”
The overly-sugared candies and drinks are enough to make any adult wonder how kids eat these kinds of things every day and remain functioning. Even with munchies, this group of High People didn’t enjoy the sugar-infused snacks.
After experiencing the many interactive, not-so-good snacks, the High People came to a unanimous decision about treats of the ‘90s.
It’s not about how it tastes, it’s how it makes you feel…It was more about color than flavor, if you know what I’m saying.

Did You See The World’s Biggest Blunt Sparking Controversy…Again?
America celebrated it’s Independence Day again, with food, fun, alcohol, and fireworks. But expensive displays of pyrotechnics weren’t the only thing going up in smoke this 4th of July. Temple Terrace, Florida threw their annual parade, and for the second year in a row, the “World’s Biggest Blunt” was there.
Back by popular demand
Float organizer Chris Cano is also the executive director of the Central Florida chapter of NORML. He said they were happy to be back by popular demand, and he was thrilled with the level or positive reception they received.
We filed all the paperwork, paid our fees. We are doing everything by the book. We want our message to be heard loud and clear. We want to be taken seriously.
He emphasized that the giant blunt billowing smoke as the float cruised along in the parade was about raising awareness of the medicine, helping destigmatize its image.
This is all about education, not pushing drugs on anyone’s kids. This is a legitimate medicine that we want to see doctors recommend to suffering patients.
Less than universal support
Of course, as if a blunt is shockingly worse than the alcohol widely ingested at these events, some parents were mightily offended at the sight. Ellen Snelling, chairman for the Hillsborough County Anti-drug alliance and mother of three was rather huffy, to say the least.
This should not be around children. The biggest problem I have is the blunt. That shouldn’t be at a family parade. They have free speech and can spread their message, but that blunt shouldn’t be there.
She was shocked when she heard the float would once again make an appearance.
To have that at a parade that is mainly families, and especially my children all the way to teenagers, it didn’t seem like the best venue.
An overzealous sense of propriety
Snelling started burning up the phone lines of the Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce. Mind you, she di the same thing last year. But the city cites free speech in defense of allowing the float. Cano, taken aback, wondered what she was smoking.
What we’re talking about here is saving lives. Why don’t they get that?
Free speech trumps righteous indignation at this festival of freedom.

Meet Your New Hero: This Guy Gets Paid To Smoke Weed
Russ Hudson has a job that most of us only dream of. He gets paid to smoke weed. There happens to be a need in the market for comprehensive analysis and subjective review of the experience each strain provides, and Russ is the man to do it.
How Russ Hudson found a purpose in Spain
Spain boasts about 300 smoking clubs, with or without licenses. The liberal laws there allow you to join a club and use the plant there or take up to 5 grams a day home. Yet transportation and cultivation remain illegal, and so a legal limbo continues.
Russ and his wife decided several years ago to expand their cannabis business abroad. They saw promise in Spain and after visiting his first cannabis club there, Russ says:

Russ goes to cannabis clubs and performs detailed reviews of their strains, then posts them online. He has even developed his own 5-part review method. It consists of:
- Appearance: Grading the look and feel of the bud
- Aroma: How does the bud smell whole and when broken open
- Flavor: Russ details the notes, flavors, and highlights of the herb
- Potency: (How high it gets you, what kind of high you feel, where in the body you feel it, and how it spreads as it develops)
- Duration: How long the high lasts, and how it degrades
His reviews can make or break a club, and a strain. The Russ Hudson seal of approval means a lot and gives a professional smoker’s view on exactly what the herb’s experience offers.
The next step
Once the review is done, Russ uploads his work onto his website, MarijuanaGames.org. For him, cannabis is more than a career, it is a way of life. It helps him with his PTSD, his running, his work, and his life.

Given One Year To Live, But Cannabis Oil Saved Her Life
Natalee Wray had her first seizure when she was only 8 months old. At her worst point, she was suffering over 600 seizures a week. They happened all day and all night. Natalie’s mother says she had to set an alarm for every 30 minutes through the night to check on her.

Spliffigami: Heart Shaped Joint For People Who Really Love Weed
Rolling a high-class joint is more than about just the end result. Artistic craftsmanship is an act of love. Spliffigami means loving the herb, loving the experience of smoking, and most of all, loving yourself enough to settle for nothing less than the best. What better way to express your love than a heart shaped joint, shown to use by kushnwaxconnection? Nothing, save for sharing it with someone you love when you are done.
Step 1: The components
To roll a heart shaped joint, you first need to roll 4 regular joints. Consistency makes the end result look better, so make them all the same size. Make sure two of them are a bit loose, as they will have to bend. You also will leave the ends open on all of them.
Step 2: The bottom
Take the glue strips off of several extra rolling papers, and use one or two to connect two joints just behind the ends. You should have about a 45° angle when it is done.
Step 3: The curves
The two loose joints get curved and tucked into the separate ends of the first two. Making them slightly smaller at one end than the others will help. Secure them to the bottom two with more glue strips.
Step 4: The top connection
Once the rest of the joint is sealed together, you take more strips and connect the two curved joints just behind the tips.
Step 5: Tweak shape and light you heart shaped joint
It only takes a little bending and smoothing to get your shape perfect. A few extra glue strips to give the connections a cleaner look can make it a sleek work of art. To light it, just hold your lighter inside the shape and light the middle. Enjoy this fine creation with someone you love!

Learn From The Master: Redman’s Guide to Rolling a Blunt

Before you start
A blunt is only as good as its ingredients. Make sure you have a soft, fresh cigar. Forget those stale, dry ones that sit on store shelves for months or years.
You want quality weed, for a quality smoke. Unfortunately for Redman, due to the location he had to shoot this video with “hamster bedding” instead of real weed. All that hard work for nothing. Okay, not for nothing, he still gets to show us how it’s done. He goes on to expound on his current faves that he is smoking a lot of right now.
Redman’s favorite smoking strains:
Step 1: Split it, don’t spit in it
Don’t get nasty by putting your spit all over it. Just moisten the tip and gently split the cigar in a straight line.
Step 2: Quality and consistency
Have all your weed finely ground before you start, it saves time. No seeds or stems allowed, you don’t want that stabbing through your blunt.
Step 3: Roll it up
Spread your weed evenly in the skin, and pack it full. Roll gently. Tighten, and roll. Tighten, and roll.
Step 4: The seal
Unless you have some honey to seal it up with, or a damp sponge, you will have to use saliva. The blunt needs moisture along the last half inch or more from the end to get a good seal, so be generous, but not soaking it.
Step 5: Getting the best pull
Redman says that you shouldn’t be afraid to flatten a blunt to tighten the weed. Having the prettiest blunt is less important than having a good blunt with a full draw.

There’s A Very Big Problem With The New Canadian Cannabis Task Force

The Canadian cannabis icon Marc Emery has a similar opinion to many Canadians on this newly assembled task force. While the intentions of a research committee of this nature sound positive for a country undergoing legalization, the members that make up the group are raising some questions.
The head of the task force, Anne McLellan, has once referred to cannabis as a scourge. For the leader of the legalization task force to have such an uneducated opinion on cannabis is surely troubling.
While Emery does acknowledge some more positive members of the task force, he does not feel hopeful for the approach that the government will take towards growing and selling. He wants the cultivation and sales of cannabis to be an entrepreneurial market. And hopefully with the government allowing small cannabis businesses to thrive just as much as larger ones.
