Visitors Won’t Be Able To Buy Cannabis In California’s New ‘Weed Town’

This Weed Company hero Visitors Wont Be Able To Buy Cannabis In Californias New Weed Town

Back in August, American Green announced it was purchasing the entire town of Nipton, California, a hamlet in the Mojave Desert, which has a population of about 18 people. Now, with escrow having closed, the Arizona-based firm that is developing several canna-businesses officially owns the town.

Visit for the weed but stay for the people

American Green is best known for its vending machine technology, which can verify IDs, and make it easy to purchase medical weed. Along with the vending machine, and Nipton, the company is also building a cannabis cultivation facility in Arizona.

But, until they come to an arrangement with the county, the company can’t sell cannabis products in Nipton.

County spokesperson David Wert confirmed Monday that commercial cannabis activity – cultivation, sales of marijuana products at dispensaries, use of marijuana delivery services and the consumption of CBD – is not allowed on unincorporated San Bernardino County land. The county hasn’t discussed changing its rules, because no residents have asked.

Nipton could bypass county rules by incorporating. But state incorporation guidelines require would-be towns to prove the viability of their tax bases. Nipton, with fewer than 20 residents, “would not come close,” Wert said.

Consuming cannabis will still be part of Nipton’s pitch to tourists. Visitors just won’t be able to buy it there.

If it comes to fruition, American Green will make Nipton into a boutique cannabis destination, where people can take mineral baths in CBD water, dine on cannabis-infused food in the cafe, and smoke on the hotel porch without fear of arrest.

The town will be more of a destination, entertainment, eco-tourism and just enjoying the beauty of the desert, and being in a space where you can enjoy your fondness for the plant to medicate without fear of something going down. – Rosati

pirates People Are Pissed That Wiz Khalifa Endorsed Weed At A Baseball Game

On Wednesday night, Wiz Khalifa was invited by the Pittsburgh Pirates to throw the first pitch. Then, by Thursday morning, MLB was reprimanding the team.

Strike one

It seems the league is pretty unhappy with the Pirates and Khalifa after the rapper showed up on the mount with a shirt emblazoned with “LEGALIZE IT” across the front in green letters. Of course, those in the know what the “it” is referring to. But, just to make sure there was no confusion, Wiz mimed smoking a joint before throwing out the first pitch.

The next morning, MLB issued a statement to a writer at Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, which was short and sweet:

Marijuana is probated substance in all of our drug programs. It’s unfortunate this situation occurred. The Pirates have informed us that this should not have happened.

Also, that’s the statement, verbatim. But it’s safe to assume MLB meant “prohibited” and not “probated.” Just what the Pirates or MLB expected from Wiz is the real question, as he is definitely a cannasseur, whose music reflects his love of your favorite herb.

Kirsten Dunst Was High AF While Filming Her New Weed Movie

kd Kirsten Dunst Was High AF While Filming Her New Weed Movie

This past Friday, the drama film “Woodshock” starring Kirsten Dunst made its debut. In the movie, Dunst plays a huge pothead. So naturally, there’s plenty of scenes where she had to pretend to smoke weed. Not real herb, of course. Just the fake stuff, or so she thought. As it turns out, Dunst accidentally scored the real deal in the form of a joint while shooting a scene. Not just a couple puffs either, but an entire joint. So yeah, she was lit. Check out the clip from Jimmy Kimmel Live below to hear all the weedy details.

Kirsten Dunst smoked a joint on set

Anyone who has ever seen a stoner flick, or any movie with weed in it, has probably thought to themselves “I wonder if they’re smoking the real deal?” at least once. For the most part, that’s a no. Or, that’s what they say, anyway.

What they’re supposedly smoking on is just a mix of tobacco or other smokeable herbs. Well, besides Kirsten Dunst, who apparently smokes whole joints on set. Not on purpose, though.

Before “Woodshock,” her latest drama film, made its debut, Dunst stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk all about the movie. And how she got super high while shooting one scene in particular.

Instead of puffing on one of the fake movie set joints, she somehow managed to get her hands on the good shit. As it turns out, some locals rolled up some weed from Humboldt and threw them in for fun. But Kirsten didn’t have much fun, that’s for sure.

In fact, Dunst got so high that she didn’t know what to think,

I was like crying, laughing, eating a peanut butter sandwich.

Eventually, she had to be sent home because she couldn’t take it anymore. It’s all good Kirsten, it happens.

Polaroid Is Releasing A Brand New Instant Camera In Honor Of Its 80th Anniversary

Polariod Is About heronn Polaroid Is Releasing A Brand New Instant Camera In Honor Of Its 80th Anniversary

To celebrate its 80th anniversary, the Polaroid will release a new – but entirely retro – instant camera, which will make fans of analog technology happy. That camera is the OneStep 2, the first release in a new line that is targeting those people who still enjoy the nostalgia of using a Polaroid.

OneStep 2

According to Polaroid Originals CEO Oskar Smolokowski, there has been a “revival of analog,” another reason why the brand made a decision to revive its original camera. Released four decades back, the Polaroid OneStep played a big part in taking the instant camera to the masses.

When it comes to the OneStep 2, the biggest change is the camera’s shape, which is now lighter and more practical, but it still keeps the most iconic of the features of original – that includes the big red button, too.

The OneStep 2, which weighs just 460 grams, comes in two colors – black and white or colored option – and has a fixed-focus 106 mm lens, integrated flash, and a timer, so those group selfies are possible. And just like the original, the OneStep 2 keeps it simple, so there is no image stabilization or a social media connection.

But, like the original, it doesn’t use disposable batteries, seeing the AA batteries replaced with a built-in battery, which is charged by a USB connection.

If this sounds like you head to the Polaroid Originals website, where the OneStep 2 is available for pre-order. The camera, which is priced a $99.00, is scheduled for delivery from October 16.

Russian Media Blames Morgan Freeman’s Weed Use For His Call To Investigate Russia

Russia Is Blaming hero Russian Media Blames Morgan Freeman’s Weed Use For His Call To Investigate Russia

After appearing in a video that calls for more investigations as to Russia’s involvement in the U.S. election, Russian media has lashed out at the actor, which led to accusations that he has issues due to smoking weed.

Russian media vs Morgan Freeman

Last week, a nonprofit aiming to spread information about Russia’s role in the 2016 U.S. presidential election was launched, with the help of some influential names from Hollywood. The Committee to Investigate Russia aims “to help Americans recognize and understand the gravity of Russia’s continuing attacks on our democracy.”

With the launch came an introductory video, featuring director Rob Reiner and actor Morgan Freeman, which led to a backlash from Russian media. Most of that backlash was directed at Freeman’s appearance video, where the Hollywood icon says that the U.S. “came under attack by the Russian government.”

As you could imagine, most of the state-controlled media in Russia reacted to the video, which included abuse and accusations directed toward Freeman. One particular news outlet, Rossiya 24, put up a caption during a broadcast that read “Hysterical Freeman.”

But that wasn’t all, as the network also brought in a panel of psychiatrists, which saw one attempting to explain how the actor’s appearance in the video meant Freeman had “a Messianic complex,” which is the result of having played “God” or presidents in the past. That’s when the anchor accused Freeman of having issues, all due to an “excessive workload” and, wait for it, “marijuana use.”

Dave Franco Had An Edible-Induced Panic Attack At His Own Surprise Party

Dave Franco Had hero Dave Franco Had An Edible Induced Panic Attack At His Own Surprise Party

At a surprise birthday party thrown by his now wife Alison Brie, Dave Franco suffered a panic attack – his first, no less – after consuming a weed cookie, which he ate while trying to relax around the guests.

Dave Franco and the not-so-good surprise

Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the youngest of the Franco brothers recalled an embarrassing incident, which took place not long after he and Alison became a couple.

Early on in the relationship, Brie decided to help Franco celebrate his birthday by throwing a surprise celebration. But, according to Franco, the guest list got out of control, which saw the actor begin to stress.

I’m a pretty private person. I don’t like to be the centre of attention, so I freaked out; and to alleviate my anxiety, I chose to consume a weed cookie, and it had the opposite affect, where I ran downstairs and had the first panic attack of my life.

As he explains in the clip, Franco ran downstairs and told Brie to “get everyone out” of the house. He then remembered how the only guest left from the Eighties-themed party was a man dressed as cocaine. Yes, cocaine – the man was painted white and wrapped in plastic. Franco continued to say that, while this individual was raiding his fridge, the 32-year-old star was “literally throwing up and throwing a tantrum” in another room of the house.

Alison and I still talk about how if we survived my surprise party, we can survive anything.

Blood And Semen hero Check Out The Controversial New Blood And Semen Kicks By Supreme X Vans

Don’t let the name of the print fool you, as the new collab from Supreme x Vans x Andres Serrano is cooler than you’d expect.

Supreme x Vans x Andres Serrano

Earlier this week, the preview of the Supreme and Vans collab kicks made its way online, which gave the world its first look at the Blood and Semen Pack.

So, how did the collab get its name? The Supreme x Vans Blood And Semen Pack is a part of a capsule collection, which features the artwork of photographer Andres Serrano, who is known as one of the most controversial artists in modern art.

That reputation came from his past pieces, such as the Piss Christ photograph, which is one of his most infamous images. Serrano is known for creating one-of-a-kind images out of unorthodox materials, which obviously includes religious iconography and bodily fluids, which is inspired by his strict Roman Catholic upbringing.

For the collab, Supreme and Vans chose to go with one of Serrano’s most infamous works, his Blood and Semen series. The Supreme x Vans x Andres Serrano pack includes the Vans Old Skool, Vans Chukka and the Vans Sk8-Hi. All three of the models come with a print from one of Serrano’s images, entitled “Blood and Semen II.” The print is paired up with black accents throughout the upper while sitting on top of a white vulcanized sole.

It’s not just kicks, though, as the capsule collection also includes apparel from Supreme. The collection is now on sale.

  • Cook time: 45-50 minutes
  • Serving size: 1 slice
  • Yield: 16 servings

Crust

  • 4 cups ap flour

How-to

Crust

  1. In a medium bowl, add flour and salt and mix thoroughly.

  3. Cut the dough in half, and roll them into disks.
  4. Cover them with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. It will keep in the fridge for 3 days, and in the freezer for 3 months.

Filling

  1. Peel, core, and slice the apples, and put them into a large bowl.
  2. Add the lemon juice on the apples while you’re slicing so they don’t turn brown.
  3. Now add the brown sugar, flour, and spices and mix thoroughly.

Assemble and cook

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Take 4 sheets or parchment or wax paper, and place each pie crust dough on a piece of paper and top with the other piece paper.

  4. Line the bottom crusts over your pie dish, and trim the edges. This dough is very forgiving, so don’t be afraid to work with it if needed.
  5. Fill with your apple mixture, dot the top of the apples with the butter.

  7. Trim the edges, press to seal and flute or fork edges.

Supreme Judicial Court Rules Field Sobriety Tests Don’t Work For Weed

The Supreme Judicial hero Supreme Judicial Court Rules Field Sobriety Tests Dont Work For Weed

According to a new ruling from the Supreme Judicial Court, field sobriety tests cannot be used in court against someone who is accused of driving under the influence of cannabis.

Field sobriety tests are not science

In the ruling issued on Tuesday, the court decided police officers cannot testify in court about the so-called “results” of field sobriety tests that are used when determining a person’s alcohol intoxication. However, officers are still allowed to testify as to a person’s characteristics during a traffic stop.

The decision stated it would not be proper for those tests to be used to determine whether a person is under the influence of weed, citing the lack of a scientific consensus on the effectiveness of field sobriety tests on people who have consumed cannabis.

Walpole Police Chief John Carmichael, who also happens to be an outspoken opponent of recreational weed, says,

The SJC is now saying based on the science, the standard field sobriety test that we use for alcohol, which we have used in the past for marijuana don’t correlate with the impairment side of it.

In the decision, the Supreme Judicial Court wrote that the jurors are permitted to use common sense when looking at the evidence. The decision also doesn’t exclude officers from conducting field sobriety tests but does say they can’t definitively answer the question.

Despite the ruling, it’s best to do what’s right when elevated, which is not getting behind the wheel.

Rose Petal Blunts Are A Thing Now. Here’s How You Roll One.

rose petal blunts Rose Petal Blunts Are A Thing Now. Heres How You Roll One.

There are trends for everything these days, including weed. The latest? Rolling blunts with rose petals. It all began when Twitter user posted a how-to video on the art of conjuring a rose petal blunt. Not long after it hit the web, people couldn’t help but ask questions. For starters, they wanted to know how safe smoking on a rose really is. Also, how on earth does it taste? The conclusion is it can’t be any worse than tobacco. And apparently, the flavor isn’t bad, either. So if you want to join in on rolling rose petal blunts we’ve got you, fam.

So long papers, rose petal blunts are where it’s at

When it comes to weed trends, you just never know what to expect these days. You have that one guy that smoked pot out of a fish. Then, people all of a sudden started sparking their bongs with high power lasers at one point in time. Now, the latest thing is rolling blunts with rose petals.

The woman behind this new craze is Twitter user @simple_sasha. A few weeks ago, she posted a how-to video on rolling rose petal blunts. Not exactly the weirdest thing to do, but people are freaking out nevertheless.

Of course, the questions started pouring out. The web had to know more. And can you blame them? Smoking bud wrapped up in rose petals isn’t exactly something you see every day.

The primary concern was safety. Can smoking on roses really be that healthy for you? And how does it taste?

Eventually, everyone concluded that smoke, in general, can be harmful. So you might as well roll a blunt with something natural, like rose petals, instead of tobacco.

And that’s what people are doing, y’all. The shock didn’t last long, that’s for sure. Everyone is trying it out for themselves,

How to roll a rose petal blunt

Because at least one of you is somewhere out there just dying to learn how to roll a blunt using rose petals at this point, here’s how it’s done. But just to clarify, we aren’t saying it’s safe. You be the judge.

First things first, grab the essentials:

  • Three rose petals
  • One oven-safe pan

Once you have everything you need, it’s time to begin. To start, line your three petals together on the oven-safe pan. Then, set your oven to broil, and put them in for about 10 seconds.

After removing the pan, you will notice that the petals are darker in color, which is what you want. The next step is to line up the petals by licking the bottoms. They should all be sticking together.

Now, place them back on the pan and set them back in the oven for 10 more seconds. Then, remove them and wait about two minutes before adding in your bud. They will be nice and crisp, but still workable.

Finally, drop in your strain of choice, ground up, of course, and proceed to roll as normal. And there you have it folks, the rose petal blunt. Enjoy!

Dr. Oz Shuts Down Fox & Friends With His Pro-Weed Outburst

Dr Oz Almost hero Dr. Oz Shuts Down Fox & Friends With His Pro Weed Outburst

During an appearance on Fox & Friends, Dr. Oz stopped the show when speaking about how weed is the solution of the opioid epidemic.

The Wizard is Oz

The TV host Dr. Oz, AKA Mehmet Cengiz Öz, sat down with Fox & Friends to talk about an upcoming interview with Ivanka Trump. But the conversation soon veered from the original topic, when Dr. Oz gave his opinion on what would end the opioid epidemic: medical cannabis. By doing so, he made all three hosts of the show speechless.

Originally, Fox News invited Dr. Oz on the show, to speak about how Ivanka Trump suffered from postpartum depression, which she revealed on his show. But what got people talking wasn’t the original topic, but the comment Oz made about medical cannabis, and how it could end the opioid epidemic in the United States.

The particular topic came up when host Ainsley Earhardt asked the good doctor if the anger and backlash over the election and presidency of Donald Trump was bad for the country. He agreed that it was, but that’s where that subject stopped and another began, with the discussion going to the opioid epidemic.

Just as co-host Brian Kilmeade attempted to go to a commercial, Dr. Oz asked if could say something.

The real story is the hypocrisy around medical marijuana. People say marijuana is a gateway drug to narcotics; it may be the exit drug to get us out of the narcotic epidemic.

The last co-host, Steve Doocy (who is known for mocking those who smoke), replied with one word: “Wow!” Then, Oz said medical professionals are not allowed to study it because it’s a Schedule I drug, and he personally believes it could help.

At the University of Denver, you can get a degree in writing about weed (How to get paid to smoke weed and write about it)

Despite the legalization of marijuana in over 25 U.S states, and soon, the entire country of Canada, those in the cannabis-industry are still fighting for legitimacy in the public imagination—a difficult task after generations of prohibition and bumbling “stoner” films.

Those who grow marijuana look forward to the day when the plant is regarded with the same respect as other agricultural crops, like soy beans or corn. Physicians who prescribe marijuana hope the stigma will soon dissipate, and the plant will become a normalized form of medicine. And no matter how classy their suits, cannabis entrepreneurs just can’t seem to catch a break from the cheesy weed puns, and move forward with their business in peace.

Professor Paul Seaborn at the University of Denver, now offering a full economics course on “The Business of Marijuana,” hopes to change that.

Combining lectures on marijuana with a room full of college students more accustom to epic 420 rallies than academic discourse on weed, seems like it could have its challenges—that quiet row of seats in the back of the classroom you sit in whilst high doesn’t have enough room for an entire class, after all. More than the danger of an entire classroom of canna-bro’s, though, Seaborn is concerned with working out the kinks of the first-ever college course on the marijuana business. How, for example, do you offer a AACB-accredited business advice on a substance that’s still illegal in half the country?

“There were some doubts,” Seaborn told KDUN. “I think you know there are some skeptics within the school, skeptics in the community, people wondering what’s going on why are we having a course on marijuana.”

Despite the concerns, Seaborn’s course has gotten off to a spectacular start. Students are not simply showing up for the gimmick—instead, most are relived to have an academic, professional outlet for their entrepreneurial aspirations.  “I wasn’t at all interested. But when I got there, I was sold. I was just blown away with how mainstream and professional it all was.” Said New York City attorney Marc Ross to the Denver Post, who’s trip to the University of Denver inspired him to push Hofstra University to open their own marijuana law course.

Seaborn’s course isn’t just a 101 on running a dispensary. It covers just about every business that’s tied to the cannabis industry—everything from cultivation to heat-lamp manufacturing. Seaborn hopes to use his course to explore the similarities and differences between the marijuana industry, and other related industries with a less contentious history. “Whether it’s alcohol or tobacco, even automotive or biotech. Lots of comparing and contrasting to see what makes it unique and what are the common issues these industries have experienced in these early stages.” Seaborn said in The Cannabist.

The University of Denver has been ahead of the curve for years now, having opened a course on cannabis journalism and cannabis law in 2015. As the marijuana industry marches steadily forward, courses like Seaborn’s will be critical in educating a new wave of entrepreneurs and cannabis connoisseurs. Videos taken of the class show a group of students who are studiously committed to the rapidly expanding industry.

As institutions that cultivate progress, university and college campuses have always offered the first snapshots of the country’s future. With the help of those like Seaborn and the University of Denver, that future will likely see the trading of tie-die shirts for suits and ties.

Sure, wine enthusiasts can enrol in any number of sommelier certification programs, but for weed experts, the process is a little more, should we say, academic.

Taylor Camp is the tropical ocean-utopia without bills, rules or politics

The 1960’s is remembered as a lightning-rod decade for revolutionary change. But when some couldn’t find peace in the larger framework of society, they broke off from the herd to build a better life, with their own rules and ideals.

One such landing point for these ideals was a place called Taylor Camp. Named after the land’s owner, Howard Taylor (brother of actress, Elizabeth Taylor), who invited a group of nomadic hippies to live on his land with him, the camp had the quality of paradise.

Sitting ocean-front in Hawaii, Taylor Camp was the manifestation of thirteen hippies, who sought refuge from the violence and turmoil of the American Heartland, and decided to establish a society diametrically opposite from the one they had just left. No rules governed Taylor Camp. Local politics was a nonstarter; most didn’t even wear clothes.

Their plan wasn’t necessarily concrete: they just sought out the most remote piece of land they could find in Hawaii, and set up wooden tree-houses and hand-built cabins to live out of. If they wanted food, they would often just scavenge or fish. For the most part, they just smoked weed and chilled. For the residents of Taylor Camp, it was idyllic.

Word spread of the liberating way of life at Taylor Camp, and people started flocking to the island. Soon there were somewhere in the range of 120 residents, all determined to live out the hippy pura vida that most in New York and California could only dream of. One photographer, John Wehrheim, documented the experiment in a 1970 photo-book simply entitled “Taylor Camp”.

In 1977, unfortunately, Taylor Camp was finally shut down by the government, which was establishing a State Park on the land. But Wehrheim’s ethereal photo’s live on, captivating viewers with the promise of Utopia.

While most took advantage of Taylor Camp’s “clothing optional” policies, residents say that the lack of garments was not meant to be sexual, just natural.

Residents aimed to shed the conventions and constructs of their old lives—the materialism and consumerism of American society was done away with.

Taylor Camp wasn’t home to any television—in fact, they didn’t even have electricity. They

found entertainment in music, crafts and ultimately each other.

Many in Taylor Camp were previously involved in the anti-war movement. When establishing peace didn’t seem like it was an option, they opted for isolation.

A number of Vietnam veterans also flocked to Taylor Camp, disturbed by the reality of war and in search of a more gentle way of life.

Many of the beach-houses in Taylor Camp were hand-made with bamboo, driftwood, and other recycled materials.

Some raised entire families in Taylor Camp. While the American heartland offered violence and conflict, children in Taylor Camp were unburdened by this harsh reality.

For all the residents of Taylor Camp, their new society was a dream come to life, the ultimate utopia.

Wehrheim remembers Taylor Camp as “the best days of our lives.”

Buy these joints and help build tiny houses for the homeless

Two dispensaries in Seattle are flipping the lazy marijuana-users’ stereotype on its head: by committing what used to be a crime in Seattle, you can now help to solve the homelessness problem.

The infamous Uncle Ike’s dispensary—more typically known for curing cotton-mouth with free sodas—has teamed up with Solstice, who are now selling packs of “Tiny House” branded joints in their stores, and donating a portion of the proceeds to the Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI), in order to construct more city-sanctioned encampments for homeless residents. For each $23 pack of pre-rolled joints you buy, $4 goes to the LIHI. (Has there ever been a more noble reason to get high?)

For each pack of pre-rolls, you’ll receive three grams of 24 percent THC weed rolled into four joints, as well as the knowledge that your smoking habits are finally achieving something of purpose. You can buy these pre-rolled packs at Uncle Ike’s 23rd and Union, and Capitol Hill locations.

Solstice alone hopes to sell at least 2,500 packs of Tiny House pre-rolls, for a total of 10,000 joints. If Seattle’s marijuana enthusiasts can smoke their way through all 10,000, that translates into $7,500 donated to LIHI for a total of three tiny houses for the homeless.

Solstice’s end-goal is to quadruple this amount, in order to provide funding for a total of 12 tiny homes. Still, this is only a small fraction of the tiny homes needed to house all 3,000 of the homeless people currently sleeping on the streets of Seattle. Seattle’s rainy winters are not fun to brave without a home: in 2015 alone, 91 people died while living homeless in Seattle.

Uncle Ike’s and Solstice believe it’s their duty as residents and small business owners to contribute to the betterment of their city. “Uncle Ike’s is a family, and our family includes all of Seattle,” Uncle Ike’s owner, Ian Eisenberg, said in a press release. “As a small local business, we are grateful for our blessings and we want to share them with those in our family who might benefit most from a helping hand.” Eisenberg and the owners of Solstice have also promised to personally build a tiny house each.

Seattle first starting building tiny houses for homeless people last year. Not only does the tiny home model give people a place to sleep, but it also saves the city money on costs like hospital bills, emergency services and law enforcement. For this reason, the tiny house model has been adopted in cities from Newfield, New York, to Medicine Hat, Alberta.

The new encampments are each supposed to accommodate 100 tiny houses. With winter once more on the way, builders are hoping to wrap the projects up as quickly as possible. So go on. Smoke to your hearts content. And if anybody tries to tell you that your smoking habits are impacting the people around you, you can tell them: you’re damn right they are.

What Happened When Three Former Cops Smoked Weed Together?

Three Former Cops hero What Happened When Three Former Cops Smoked Weed Together?

In one of the more memorable episodes of Cut’s “Strange Buds,” three ex-cops smoke weed, which leads to an elevated and entertaining debate about the benefits of your favorite herb.

The cops are here

You’re probably familiar with Cut’s Strange Buds, which gets together the unlikeliest of people together, who then smoke up. In previous episodes, Aubrey Plaza has smoked it up with the Weed Nuns, and another episode brought together a Republican, a Democrat and an Independent, who debated the state of the union while getting elevated.

But in this episode, Cut has three former cops coming to the table to smoke, which starts in a unique way.

So, what makes this episode of Strange Buds different from the others? That would be how it begins, which sees the former cops doing a field sobriety test, proving that all three are fully functional. But, given the theme of Strange Buds, that won’t last.

Before the test, you’ll meet the three ex-cops. From the left, it’s Reen, who had last smoked weed in 1968. In the middle, it’s David, who first smoked when he was 14. On the right, it’s Robert, who had only tried it once, when he was “on a waterbed with a very agreeable woman while listening to Rhapsody in Blue“.

With the field sobriety test done, which is entertaining on its own, the ex-cops are smoking from a bong – with a little assistance, of course. Then, the questions start. Now, what are the questions? You’ll have to watch and see because you won’t be disappointed.

As always, make sure you’re elevated, too.

Cannabis Oil Helped This Woman Beat Terminal Brain cancer

Cancer Patient With heronew Cannabis Oil Helped This Woman Beat Terminal Brain cancer

After being diagnosed with stage four cancer, rather than accept the death sentence, Lynn Cameron sought out alternative forms of medication and took control of her diagnosis. Despite doctors continually telling her there was nothing to be done, she never gave up hope. With nothing left to lose, she began a cannabis oil regimen. Now, four years later, she’s spreading the word of the true powers of cannabis.

Lynn Cameron: Beating the odds

When Lynn Cameron was just 44-years-old, she suffered an unexpected seizure. Shortly after, the Blantyre, Scotland native began undergoing routine testing to aid doctors in finding the root cause of the seizure. After one scan showed an extremely large mass on Cameron’s brain, they feared the worst.

Doctors told Cameron she had stage four terminal brain cancer, with just six to eighteen months to live.

I took a seizure on November 30, 2013, prior to which I had been quite well. I had a scan on December 10 at Hairmyres Hospital and it showed a mass, and I was taken straight into Southern General at that point. I was operated on December 16, and on December 27 I was told that I had stage four terminal brain cancer.

Completely devastated, Cameron prepared to fight for her life. Following doctors’ recommendations, she began intense rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. After each treatment, Cameron continued to feel worse and worse. The drugs were doing little to halt or control the growth of the tumor, while the side effects were leaving her bedridden and unable to eat.

A new treatment

When it seemed like all hope was lost and Cameron had finally succumbed to the life-ending diagnosis, a friend made a suggestion that would forever change her life; cannabis oil.

A good friend suggested cannabis, but I was too scared because it’s illegal. I also found it hard to believe that it would cure brain cancer so advanced, but as the scans were showing there was no change to the mass, I eventually thought, ‘I’m going to break the mold here and try that.’

Since beginning her treatments, Scotland has voted to legalize medical cannabis, but only under certain, very strict conditions. At the time of Cameron’s decision, any form of cannabis was illegal in the country and came with some pretty harsh penalties. Still, Cameron knew she had nothing left to lose and everything to gain.

I started taking cannabis oil under my tongue, as it gets straight into the blood stream that way. Each scan I received after that was showing an improvement. I had been told that chemotherapy and radiotherapy doesn’t make much difference, so I knew it must be the cannabis doing it.

Through her process, Cameron realized doctors have not been properly trained or taught about the many benefits cannabis has to offer.

They told me, ‘eat whatever you like, take all the vitamins you want, it won’t work,’ but these were the people who told me my cancer was incurable, and it was gone. The British Medical Journal hasn’t properly investigated cannabis.

Four years later and Cameron is completely cancer free. She knows if it hadn’t been for the medical cannabis, her outcome would have been entirely different. Cameron’s dedicated her second chance at life to advocating for medical cannabis and the reform of prohibitive laws that surround its cultivation and use.

This Family Has To Move Counties So Their Son Can Get Life-Saving Cannabis Treatment

Alfie Dingley This Family Has To Move Counties So Their Son Can Get Life Saving Cannabis Treatment

The family of five-year-old Alfie Dingley, who can have hundreds of seizures a day because of his rare form of epilepsy, is moving to the Netherlands for cannabis treatment.

Help gives hope to little Alfie Dingley

Alfie Dingley is one of five boys in the world with PCDH19, an extremely rare genetic disorder, and his parents are desperate to treat his seizures. The parents, Hannah and Drew, believe that cannabis oil will help treat the symptoms of epilepsy, but could face jail if they follow through with that treatment in Warwickshire, England.

His seizures are so bad, his mother, Hannah, gave up her job in the travel industry to become his full-time carer. She said that Alfie is deeply affected by the drugs he is given, and the IV steroids he takes when he has a cluster of seizures have serious side effects since the drugs are toxic and cause him to be very aggressive.

We have done a lot of research into whole plant medical cannabis and have found many parents around the world who are using it effectively to either reduce or stop very aggressive seizures.

But, if Hannah were to give Alfie medical cannabis in the United Kingdom, she could be jailed for up to 14 years, which she says “is an absurd situation.” Now, the family is having to move to a new country to get treatment, which could transform Alfie’s life.

Currently, because of his condition, Alfie misses out on the majority of his schooling. He also has learning difficulties and rarely has the chance to socialize with other children.

The family is asking for donations via their fundraising page, to help fund the move, and have so far raised almost £3,000 of their £15,000 target.

Larry David Is Back And He Hasn’t Changed. At All.

The New Trailer hero Larry David Is Back And He Hasnt Changed. At All.

The latest trailer for the ninth season of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm has been released, and as you’ll see, Larry David hasn’t changed a bit.

Don’t be offended

In the trailer, you’ll see Larry David – the “social assassin” – do what he does best: offend people. That includes him shushing a crying woman at a funeral, knocking over a woman in a department store, and even chasing away two people who are kissing in front of his office, saying “[Y]ou’re allowed to be happy, but not in front of me,” in typical Larry fashion.

Then, there is the situation that only Larry could get into, which is ‘you-hooing’ a judge. Of course, the judge isn’t impressed, but Larry just asks the question that only Larry could ask: “You can’t yoo-hoo a judge?”

Returning for the ninth season is Richard Lewis, playing himself, who is quick to tell Larry what he thinks of him. “You’re devoid of anything that’s remotely caring or empathetic,” to which David naturally responds, “That’s a great compliment.”

There looks to be some notable guest stars, too, which includes Bryan Cranston. But unlike so many actors and comedians, Cranston isn’t playing himself, but Larry’s therapist. “I enjoy the mind of Larry David,” says Cranston’s character, something that many fans would probably agree with.

The new season of Curb begins on October 1st, and brings back the original cast, including David, Jeff Garlin, Cheryl Hines, JB Smoove and Susie Essman. Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen, the real-life couple who are regulars on the show, are also set to appear in the series.

Along with Cranston, the list of guest stars includes Jimmy Kimmel, Elizabeth Banks, and Lauren Graham.

Creators Of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia Are Working On A New Show

The Its Always hero Creators Of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia Are Working On A New Show

Fans of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia can rejoice, as it is reported that Fox has ordered a pilot for a new comedy series from the team behind the former.

Cool Kids

The new show, currently titled Cool Kids, will be a multi-camera series that will follow three guy friends in a retirement community, who happen to be the “top dogs.” That is until a new member of the community overshadows them: a female rebel who’s ready to challenge their standings.

The stars of It’s Always Sunny, Charlie Day, Rob McElhenney, and Glenn Howerton, will serve as executive producers, alongside the executive producer of their current show, Nick Frenkel. But Day will also serve as a writer for the pilot, teaming with Paul Fruchbom to do so (the latter also co-created the series, too).

They’re not alone in the executive producer credit block, either, as Kevin Abbott – who is known for producing and writing for Last Man Standing and Roseanne – will join them, being named as the showrunner.

Originally a short film, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia was created by McElhenney, who recruited his friends (and fellow actors) Day and Howerton to star in it, which saw the project morph into the ultra-low budget pilot.

In 2005, FX began airing the series, which saw the addition of Kaitlin Olson in the role of Dee Reynolds. Then, in the following season, Danny DeVito would join the series.

What Would Happen If Wes Anderson And Quentin Tarantino Made Food Porn?

foodporn What Would Happen If Wes Anderson And Quentin Tarantino Made Food Porn?

These days, food porn videos are pretty popular, being shot and cut by those passionate about food. Now, imagine today’s most iconic directors, such as Quentin Tarantino, Michael Bay, Alfonso Cuarón, and Wes Anderson, creating those edits. That’s what director David Ma did, which led him to creating food porn videos in the style of those filmmakers.

Quentin Tarantino

The Spaghetti Western is one genre that has definitely inspired Tarantino, but this video is more spaghetti and meatballs than the former, but you get the idea. From the get-go, the edit references all the pulpy – not just tomato pulp, either – goodness of QT, with starkly contrasting colors that uses a whole lot of ketchup instead of blood, title card chapters, and even the theme by RZA from Kill Bill.

Michael Bay

Sure, he might not be the most liked on this list of auteurs, but you can’t deny that he is one. While the director of the Transformers franchise – every single one of those, too – might not be who you’d think of when it comes to waffles, there’s no doubt that Ma nailed his style.

Wes Anderson

With an aesthetic that is truly unique, you could say that Wes Anderson seems like the easiest to parody. But when you factor in all the elements that make up an Anderson flick, you’ll realize that it’s harder than you think. But Ma made it work, having chosen the right food to feature, which is almost perfect.

Alfonso Cuarón

What if Alfonso Cuarón, the filmmaker behind Gravity and Children of Men, made pancakes? Again, you may not have ever asked yourself that question, but it’s a good thing David Ma did, as the result is a cinematic journey into the finest of breakfast foods: pancakes.

Unicorn Pizza Is Now A Sugary, Beautiful Rainbow Thing

Unicorn Pizza hero Unicorn Pizza Is Now A Sugary, Beautiful Rainbow Thing

If one thing is for sure, it’s that the animal of the year is the unicorn. While 2017 is almost over and done with, unicorns are still here to stay it seems. First, there was the unicorn frappuccino. Then, the unicorn float came about just in time for summer. But now, unicorns are taking over your favorite stoner food ever: pizza. You won’t find the usual sauce and cheese on this pie, though. What you will get, however, is sugary, rainbow goodness. Be sure to check out the video below and feast your high eyes on the tempting munchie that Manhattan’s Industry Kitchen is calling the Pop Candy Land Pizza, aka the unicorn pizza.

If you love sugar and rainbows, then say hello to the unicorn pizza

That’s right folks. As if you haven’t gotten enough unicorn stuff this year, there is now a unicorn pizza. But this exquisite beauty is far from your average pie, though. Sure, it might scream “Diabeetus,” but still pleasing to the eye and taste buds nevertheless.

Sitting right smack dab in Manhatten is Industry Kitchen, home to all sorts of random concoctions, including the unicorn pizza. Its real name is the Pop Candy Land Pizza. But since it’s covered in rainbow crust and looks like something out of a fairytale, you can just go ahead and call it the unicorn pizza.

On top of the rainbow crust, there’s cream cheese frosting, Pop Rocks, and cotton candy. So if you’re someone who really loves sweets, then this is the type of pie you need in your life.

If you think that sounds crazy, there’s also a pizza called the 24K. Along with 24K gold leaves, it comes with truffle, platinum Ossetra caviar, foie gras, and Stilton. Oh, and it’s 2,000 bucks.

As for the unicorn pizza, that’s only $18, thank God. So next time you’re in stoned in Manhatten, New York, be sure to stop by Industry Kitchen.
