While it officially debuted at San Diego Comic-Con, the new trailer for the second season of Netflix’s Stranger Things is now online.
Stranger Things are about to get stranger
Even though those hardy fans that lined up for the panel at San Diego Comic-Con were the first to see it, the rest of the world can now watch the latest trailer for the hotly anticipated second season of Stranger Things, which will be able to be mainlined from October 27 on Netflix.
Since the show’s premiere in July of 2016, viewers have been waiting for the next season, which looks set to put the show’s protagonists back in danger. For those who have watched the first season, keep reading. But those who have not, now is the time to close this window and go watch the first season, all while getting high.
Although, for those wanting to know what will happen, chances are you’ll probably have more questions than answers. What is known, is that the next season continues with Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) enjoying being a kid that is living in the Eighties, after being returned to his family.
But, as the teaser shows, he seems to have been affected by having been in the Upside-Down for so long, since he can see that there are new dangers on the way to small-town Indiana.
Between the images and teasers released, the one thing that is clear is that the second season of Stranger Things takes place around Halloween, even showing the kid heroes dressed as Ghostbusters. But the real highlight of the trailer is the use of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and its iconic narration by Vincent Price, which perfectly sets the tone for the upcoming season.
